For 8 Years, Hillary was content to withold the "gift of freedom" from Iraq while children died.
Half a million children under 5 died in Iraq under her husband's presidency as a result of the Iraqi Sanctions imposed on them.

Let me say that again. A half a million children. Dead. Because of Clinton Policy's between 1992-2000.

My question: Why didn't she offer the "gift of freedom" sooner.

bush/clinton/bush regime for long enough!

3. Hillary knew that had no WMD. Her hubbie flew sorties every day over that country.
They couldn't put a fucking helicopter in the air without asking our permission.

How could Hillary think they were a threat?

2. Along with Madeline Albright and probably others in her inner circle
You can wage war with "soft power" as easily as with "hard power" and that's what
we did during those years. Classic passive aggression ...

4. Oh. Thats Bills fault.
She had nothing to do with that. Bad things = not Hillary. Good things = Hillary! Apparently, without Hillary, Bill would have been the worst President ever.

They have to prove their "tough guy" hawk bonafides after all.

6. The woman is a monster and so is Madeline Albright
I want nothing to do with either one of them. Hillary's got old Maddy on her FP team. No thank you, warmongresses.

The blood of over a million and a half Iraqis cry out for justice.

Say NO to Hillary.

8. Because President Dole would've just re-imposed the sanctions after Clinton lost in '96
Edited on Mon Mar-17-08 04:28 PM by Hippo_Tron
The Iraqi sanctions continued to be in place mostly due to the stupidity of the American people. Politicians have to get re-elected or they are out of a job and Saddam was so vilified by the media (without particularly good reason) that loosening them would've been handing the election the Republicans who would have proceeded to just re-impose the sanctions.

Americans love starving children because we don't like the leaders that they had no say in choosing. Just look at Cuba. There are a lot of things that Bill Clinton can be blamed for, but the stupidity of the American people isn't one of them.

10. Just because she voted for it
Doesn't mean she should be blamed for it.

Being Hillary means never having to say you're sorry.
