I'm in the wing that was driven to change their registration to Green when the Clintons started supporting school uniforms and when the allegedly Democratic Senate confirmed Mukasey. (It was a long process, I know.)

Any Democratic senator who voted to confirm Mukasey (or Alito) should have been barred from running as a Democrat for good.
