She is obviously a crazy anti-white racist! She is definitely anti-American. . .she must be stopped!

She must be deranged, she drives an hour each way every week to go spread the hate.

10. Excellent - This goes along with the new Pastor Rev. Moss - Read his bio........
The full article on Rev. Moss is at this link:

http://www.tucc.org/pastoral_staff.htm

Here is a short synopsis:

Rev. Otis Moss III
Pastor, Trinity United Church of Christ

Prior to joining the pastoral staff at Trinity United Church of Christ, Rev. Moss served as pastor of the historic Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. After his arrival, Tabernacle was blessed, through Christ, to go from 125 members to over 2100 disciples.

Rev. Moss received his BA in Religion and Philosophy from Morehouse College where he served as Student Government President. During his matriculation at "the House," he was inducted as a Ford Foundation Scholar, named by the NCAA as an All-American Track and Field athlete and graduated with honors.

He continued graduate work at Yale University and was awarded the FTE Benjamin Elijah Mays Scholarship in Religion and the Yale University Magee Fellowship. Rev. Moss is recorded as one of the few African-Americans to ever receive this award in the schools' 300-year history. Rev. Moss graduated from Yale with a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Ethics and Theology.

...........

An excellent man for his time! :grouphug:

23. I would like to see Rev. Moss take a major role in building a bridge through this issue!
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 01:13 PM by 1776Forever
I think it would be a fantastic opportunity for him and the church to not only show support for Obama but give the African-American community a basis for more openness in this issue. I see it as a generational issue and grew up in the 60's so I heard a lot of fire from some of the MLK speeches that did not go as far as Wright's did but had some of the same passion. A white person (which I am) I believe has to weigh what this man had seen in his lifetime. Lynchings and the history of the Tuskegee Experiment using poor blacks in the U.S. supported experiments were all a basis for his outrage I think. I don't think a lot of white people can even grasp what it was like in the 50's and 60's and maybe even some younger black citizen's might not be able to feel that degradation. I do not have an issue with Rev. Wright and feel that some but not all his parishioner's would believe like him and some would not. This is suppose to be a free country. My pastor when I was 16 handed out pamphlet's in 1960 JFK election saying he was going to let the Pope run the country if he got in right from his pulpit! That is one reason I quit structured religion and went to the Thomas Jefferson type natural deist God. Sorry I went on so long. I just think this is so important right now to give us a basis to see why this happen and move on!!!!!

GObama!!!!

39. Great post
Not many white people understand why there is still so much pain. As a white person, I have learned a lot in recent years.

I only learned recently as an adult that some extra measures for safety that are required to help protect the lives of African American youth when they learn how to drive.

I see this is as a denial of equal citizenship.

We have a long way to go.
One central issue that bothers me is that these videos would not have been sought if Obama were not African American.

The misunderstanding of the traditions of the church and the role it plays in the African American American community has led to it's charicaturization.
FLip Wilson, SNL, etc. have had their fun with the Black Pastor. From my experience with the people and the local church that is led by an African American pastor, the democratic party should be thankful for the GOTV efforts. The citizens should be social services provided when the cuts came down. A lot of people have been fed.

I would hope that incident such as would provide for opportunity for education. If we were to allow ourselves to open our minds we could have a productive national dialogue. But when we see that our language is still plagued with ugly language like "reverse racism" or "reverse discrimination" implying that there is a correct or proper form, I am not so optimistic that we are ready for it to proceed with civility.

It's worth about 20-40 million to them....and that's not chump change, even to mega corporations.

47. HERE'S THE REAL STORY OF JANE FISLER HOFFMAN ***BREAKING!!!!!!***
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 08:45 PM by Drunken Irishman
Jane Fisler was born in communist Romania in 1949 to Petre and Valdina Fislervandvant. She grew up warshiping Lenin, Marx and Stalin and attended the United Socialist Unification School of Economics and Social Warfare (USUSESW) at the age of 18. After studying there for 4 years, Fisler moved to Chicago, changed her last name to Fisler and met Michael Hoffman, a radical, militant member of the Black Panthers.

In the 1960s, along with her husband Michael Hoffman, Jane crossed America with a band of national terrorists known only as the Organization of Black Associates for a Marxist America (OBAMA). At this time she, along with the more militant members of the organization, were placed on the FBI's Most Wanted List. The most recent drawing of Jane Fisler Hoffman is below.

She is wanted on state terrorism charges and is believed to be armed and dangerous.
