Taylor Marsh is a REAGAN DEMOCRAT
Taylor Marsh is a REAGAN DEMOCRAT
The leader of that horrendous distorting cesspool admited she voted for Reagan in her blog.

Now her site has become a distorter of anything progressive.

A Reagan Democrat voted for

A criminal administration....Iran Contra
A race-baiter.....Remember his speeches in the South and his southern strategy
An Anti Gay hate monger....who refused to deal with the HIV/AIDS crisis, therefore allowing millions to die, and has made the epidemic far worse for that denial.
etc
etc
etc

A REAGAN DEMOCRAT is NOT a progressive.

This is who Taylor Marsh was proud to support, and now she is a distorter of anything Obama.
Yet she has an entire post devoted to the hero John McCain.............of course with the caveat that it is only about his war hero status.....don't be fooled by that, she thinks she is smart, but she is dumb as a doorknob, she is to doing this just for her idol Hillary and exactly as Hillary has done, to prop up Mccain so that when obama gets the nomination.......all of the rabid hillary cultists will vote for the war-hero!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum before...My Bad!

1. So did Wes Clark and he is a great progressive now
Many folks voted for Reagan. He won 49 states. Some of them recognized their mistake. The folks you really have to worry about are the ones who say they are Democrats but hold Reagan as a model and even adopt his political tactics.

2. The only think I like about Taylor is she called for Penn to be fired.
Unfortunately not because she has any morals or decency, but just because Hillary isn't winning the inevitability campaign.

3. The problem with right wing Democrats is they often vote against you on Dem bills in Congress.
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 06:30 AM by Selatius
You don't need that kind of dead weight in your party if you want to implement the Democratic agenda.

For example, it was right wing Democrats who switched and voted with the Republicans to pass NAFTA even though many more traditional Democrats were saying that it 1) lacked environmental protections 2) lacked labor protections and 3) would likely lead to more losses in manufacturing jobs to cheaper labor pools.

For the record, I don't fault Dems for being Reagan Democrats back then. Reagan was a charismatic speaker, one of the best at getting support from his listeners. I just fault people who consistently serve to jam up proposals that would work if only for the fact that the right wing disagrees on principle with the very existence of the proposal as either anti-free market or communistic in nature or simply because Wall Street tells them to oppose it.

4. But all those independents and republicans voting
for Obama are just fine, right? The hypocrisy here gets thicker every day.

5. That has NOTHING to do with being a REAGAN DEMOCRAT
and posting on a so-called progressive site, a puff piece about John Mc Bush

NO FRIGGIN SALE
and no one is more hypocritical than Hillary and her DLC supporters

7. apples and oranges, friend
Of course we would like independents to vote for Obama. It would also be nice if Taylor Marsh saw the light and supported Obama. But as it stands she supports the Goldwater Girl
