Here Is The Lesson To Be Learned From "Pastor-Gate"
or monica-gate, or geraldine hates black people-gate, or al gore invented the internet-gate, etc etc.

its that you have to be upstanding, morally perfect citizens who have never done anything wrong. you must be morally perfect in all ways, never have said a foul word, never have drank liquor, never have lain with a woman/man/whatever who you were not married to. must always have said your prayers, taken your vitamins, and done all your hulkamania/chuck norris bowflex exercises everday. you must salute the flag everytime you see, and every surface of your automobile must be decorated in as many ribbons as possible. in other words, you can't be a normal human being and run for public office. you can't have had mistresses, drank, done drugs, lied, etc etc. you can't be like these guys

the GOP and their MSM supporters believe we should all be as morally upright as these guys, guys who don't drink, don't smoke, and preach only the word of god according to their follows and have never, ever made a mistake according to their followers.

if anything, and I'm neither supporting obama or hillary, they've both dropped the ball a lot the past couple weeks and really need to get back onto the high ground and take the fight back to the republicans. but this whole pastor gate nonsense is about as dull as it gets.

4. Seriously
I was channel surfing and flipped by Irrelevancy And Colmes and listening to the right wing nutjobs, I had to resist smashing my television. these guys are assholes.

if republicans wanna have the faith in politics discussion, I'm all for it. lets talk about how many republican faithful are pedophiles and sexual deviants. lets talk about how many republican faithful have urged violence against women seeking medical help and control over their bodies. lets talk about how many republican faithful have said 9-11 is because of gays and liberals and the victims deserved to die because of that.

its just like this race to the bottom thats really disgusting. and its the GOP's strategy, take away people's drive to vote and make it "politics as usual" to turn voters off from voting so they can have a chance.

I was extra busy this week and just catching up on the headlines here and it's frightening. Plus the other ones you mention.

8. Obama nailed McCain on taxes
thats about the only thing I'd seen. the press has been swarming over ferraro now this. all the bullshit made up controversy.

I saw a lil press thing about obama calling out mccain for flip flopping on the bush tax cuts.

7. Agreed
hillary and obama remind people why they're voting when they talk about the issues. like I said, I'm not supporting either of them, but its time to get back on track here.

the enemy is the republican party.
