An important quality in a president
is the ability to not get rattled. One thing that must be said about Sen. Obama is that the guy stays cool as a cucumber.

Can't say that about the other two.

Don't become a parishoner of a church that has an Reverend who swears, gyrates and insults.

Did you hear that Hillary attends a RIGHT WING church in DC?

You want to rethink your post?

12. Ok, I was just going to say something really nasty, but changed my mind.
I just want to advise you that you are swallowing whole a story that is not a story. But go ahead. This is going to be the next big non-issue and those who jump all over it are going to look like fools.

8. whats more important in a president is consistency.
Obama has it, he knows himself and his message well. that's why people gravitate to him. You can't 'trick' him.

Hillary, she's all over the place trying to find something that sticks well with whatever is thrown. She doesn't know who she is but a robot in the disingenious wind. She seems personalityless to me - unless you call complicit to corps and lobbyists a personality.

11. That is an interesting thought.
I hadn't really looked at it that way. But, I think you may be right. She is rather "personalityless."

14. A person wishing to be careful about his/her associations stays away from DC
Wright engages in Jeremiads, as a very ancient form of sermon which remains traditional in many churches and entirely about justice, rather than hatred. Think of the prophets of the bible calling for the wrath of god upon the wickedness of Israel...

I don't care for churches myself but they come with the territory - atheists don't get elected - so I wouldn't judge a person by their church.

5. I didn't feel he was cool at all.
The absolute spin he was putting on it was such an obvious lie I don't know how anyone couldn't see right through him. He wants us to believe that in 17 years of sitting in the pews of this chuch that he had no idea Rev Wright spoke like this?
The next thing is that the media will find out which dates he was sitting in the pews and what the sermon was about that day. This isn't over and the huge lie Obama told tonight will haunt him and maybe lose the Presidency for him.

Obama is a good leader. People can recognize that.
