"God Damn America"
That sentiment is held by most of the world's population. Whether it's a black man expressing bitterness for discrimination, or an Iraqi displaced and wounded by American bombs, the truth remains. Our nation has committed some huge injustices. To feign indignation in the name of patriotism over someone noticing these injustices is silly. Americans, face the facts, we screwed the Native Americans, we screwed the slaves, we screwed the Iraqis. The list is huge. Sure, it's not you and me, but since it's our nation, these things were done in our name. When BO is elected, he will change those feelings. How about "Fuck the Constitution" (paraphrasing bush)

3. He made those statements BEFORE Bush's many atrocities
It was shortly after 9/11 before we know how bad Bush was going to be.

10. I think some people slept through their U.S history classes,
and forgot what they saw and heard on Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite's broadcasts.

4. Wright served his country for 7 years and then had to come back home and deal with the struggles
of inequality and the civil rights era.

I'm sure I'd still be pissed about that one.

8. Well, MLK did not take those postitions in his fight for justice.
He knew how to take on the issues and unite the people all at once.

Obama should have distanced himself from this man years ago.

16. the weird part is that he said it in a church
I dont' care myself...I don't do religion... but my wife pointed out to me...a lot of people in this country still believe...you don't take the "lords" name in vain. And it is kind of strange coming out of the mouth of a preacher....in a church no less.

18. LOL. Nice try. That clown is toast.
It only took just a little digging, a little investigation of his past and his record and his judgment, too. After several months of the media humping his leg, they finally decided to look at him.

He's toast. And he deserves all the scorn and ridicule coming his way.

It's too bad these are the only two candidates left. I'm not big on either of them. Oh well. Now we know who it will be.

20. he'll be fine
hillary is fine after all the divisive crap her campaign has pulled. they have been digging really hard to bring this man down and all they have is crap his pastor said last year or before and his association w/rezco. how desperate are we? this is the best hillary can do? this is to take the focus from her contributors being indicted. the real dirt is gonna start coming out now. get ready hillary supporters we are gonna learn why your candidate needs to distract the media with this stale old crap. what is her connection with those co-defendants?
