Can we stop the surrogate wars???
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 01:57 PM by Teaser
It's gone on far enough, and it's bleeding both candidates badly.

Is there some way to get this to stop?

1. Unity ticket or cage fight. No other way.

3. That's really too bad
I thought we had a shot in Nov. That vision of mine is receding quickly.

4. It's up to the candidates and, frankly, Hillary is the only one who can stop it since . . .
she's the primary offender.

6. Let's not lay blame anymore
It's this need to collect scalps, that is killing us. Yes, I think the O's are "more sinned against than sinning" but
blame, at this point, is moot.

It's reconcile or die. If each camp could agree to stop going after the other's surrogates bad statements, at least to take a breather, that would be a start.

8. I'll sort of agree with you, but Hillary needs to do a mea culpa. Letting her off the hook
that easy will only encourage further attacks on Obama once the effects of this recent round of Swifboat attacks wears off.

9. They're so alike that talking about issues really does nothing do differentiate one from the other.
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 02:10 PM by Forkboy
It's pointless for either side to talk issues as a way to mark themselves apart from each other. So we're left with a bunch of blowhards fighting over any and all comments by anyone even remotely aligned with one side or the other.
