Rendell: Obama Would Beat McCain in Pennsylvania

Rendell: Obama Would Beat McCain in Pennsylvania
Friday, March 14th, 2008

Clinton-backing Keystone State governor says on MSNBC the Land of Lincolner could get to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue via his state — but Clinton would have a better chance of topping the Arizonan.

Differs with Clinton strategist Penn’s claim that Obama “can’t win” the Keystone State.

1. The Clinton camp off message? That'd be a first.
For today, at least.

5. And I believe HIllary would beat McCain in the state as well
So that we have resolved that issue, let's talk about who the best Democrat is on the issues.

8. Does anyone really believe that America is eager to vote for a 71-year-old?
I really don't see McCain as this terrifying force who will be swept euphorically into office.

He is a Bob Dole with a nastier personality.

13. He is better on the campaign trail than Dole, in that he has a pulse
But Dole is a thousand times more likable. McCain is a nasty piece of work.

16. Heh, if you lived here, you'd know the "Rendell hate" is not just about Hillary.
Endorsing Hillary just fits so well with the rest of his big-city sleazy politician schtick.

(based on your avatar I'm assuming you don't live in PA)

But he is right in saying that Pennsylvania is a blue state - as far as I know.
