It's easy to cross over and vote in the primary for HRC when Rush tells you to.

It's harder to show up at the caucus and look your neighbor in the eye. It's also more work. So a lot of the repukes that voted for Hil didn't caucus for her. Didn't show up. The die-hard Clinton and Obama fans did and politely went their ways. Even chatted. But the repbubs by and large that just had to walk in and fill in the bubble didn't show later on.

Granted, I'm in a pretty blue part of Dallas county, but Texas is getting bluer and bluer. I knew Ann Richards and directed live debates for television when she was running for governor. I of course talked to her many times. Another time we met once at a huge Democratic cocktail gathering in Atlanta for Texans during the Democratic National Convention in the 80s.

I never met Molly. I wish I had.
