upsides to giving away what should have been an electoral cakewalk in '08:
Skinner won't have to rename the site to "Democratic Ohshitwe'reinpower"

We get to stay in Iraq, not just for our lifetimes, but for our children's as well.

The DLC gets to find yet another way to blame a loss on liberals, even though none were on the Democratic ticket.

Martha Stewart can discuss how to waterboard...tastefully, and with what's handy in the cupboard.

At least four years of "Mc______" nicknames.

1. How about "McNightmarey?"
You know, as opposed to "McDreamy?"

From that TV show with the nurses...

...ah nevermind.

7. the only real benefit... the end of the republican party.
I mean seriously, If only 19% are happy with Bush, McCain should be down to 10% after one year.

17. McCain will get more black votes than Hillary this November ...
because she won't be on the ticket (at least not at the top). And if she is the nominee, I can guarantee you she'll be a pariah in the African American community for the remainder of her political career.
