so John Edwards holds 25 or 26 delegates in his hands???
He also holds more if he endorses someone right before the NC primary.

He still has a say in this race I would think.

1. I don't think he controls those delegates.
His dropping out released them, as far as I understand.

2. Former Sen. Edwards only "suspended" his campaign.
So I would think his pledged delegates are "suspended" as well.:shrug:

3. Iowa picks their delegate representatives this weekend by caucus.
It's unlikely that he'll retain all of them after that. Certainly some will switch. As a matter of noting - some have written here about just that, today.
