Mike Gravel endorses Jesse Johnson (Green Party) for President

Former Senator and Democratic Presidential Candidate Mike Gravel has joined the Jesse Johnson campaign for President. Jesse Johnson, who has run for Senate and Governor in West Virginia on the Mountain Party ticket, helped deliver the West Virginia Mountain Party’s ballot line for the Green Party last month. 4. Bad as Lieberman????

I have met Mike Gravel and had the opportunity to speak at length with him.

He is an incredibly intelligent person and loves this country.

The problem he has is that he is passionate and unfortunately in this soulless society, that is looked on as a fault.

So lets all keep on chasing the corporate carrot.

This quote sums it up: “My political party long ago walked away from taking the necessary steps that will safe guard our nation’s and our children’s futures. 6. Endorsing McCain like Lieberman has officially done, and Hillary has unofficially done

is stupid. Endorsing Johnson isn't as destructive, but it is a total waste. What good things will come of it? What good things happened because of Ralph Nader's 2000 and 2004 run? Send me a list and maybe I'll change my mind.

Really, I don't care that much about Gravel one way or another. I agree with a portion of the things he says, and find a portion pretty damn nutty. No one really is going to care what Gravel does, and I don't have any interest in fighting about him. I posted this more for entertainment.

7. The same thing I say about her now

she only cares about herself and the people and things that will give her power. She didn't give two shits about me & MI until it became clear to her that the coronation wasn't going according to plan. Now that it is in her own best political interest, she wants our votes given delegates.

Hillary knows she has about a 1% chance of being the nominee, so she will try to damage Obama as much as possible up until November in hopes that McCain wins. Then she will try again in 2012.

Gravel and this endorsement won't influence the outcome of any election. Neither man has any significance or relevance in presidential politics.
