2. So answer me this.
Bush and the Reeps play the leadership victim card
ALL the time.. and get away with it.

Now why can they use it so effectively and nauseatingly
ad infinitum.. but the Democrats commit internecine
suicide over it????

Hmmmmm?????????????

4. That would only apply if Bush were offering leadership.
And really, I think "Bush does it too" isn't the best defense for a Democratic candidate.

12. My point is..
.. that Dems are attacking each other over
-this- issue that the Reeps have used over
and over again without being called on it
at all.

This hurts all Dems ...

10. I disagree.
Some of the best leaders of social movements have also been victims.

17. But, you don't consider yourself a victim
Victims are characterized as not being in control of their being victims. Leaders take control of their situation and change things.

15. He launched a website called Hillary Attacks last fall.
The only campaign message he gives out other than hope is that he is the victim of negative attacks.

What does everyone seem to have complete amnesia about what has actually happened during this campaign?

16. Thanks
you beat me to it --hell --he held fundraisers on his website that basically begged for donations because he was being ATTACKED ATTACKED ATTACKED.

and links?

His campaign cherry picks their way gleefully thorough every statement made by a Clinton surrogate and boohoos that it's "racist" (though they never really are).

He's run the most passive/aggressive "victim" campaign I've ever seen.

20. I gave you the name of the website.
Since you seem unable or unwilling to look for it here you go.

Launched in early Dec http://hillaryattacks.barackobama.com/

You'll notice it was a campaign tactic that they used primarily for Iowa.

In SC, it was using stupid remarks by Hillary supporters to cast them as racists against the first black candidate with a chance of winning.

But yeah he never played victim during this election :eyes:

21. There's a difference between being a victim and calling somebody out.
"Boo hoo, they're all ganging up on me, the mean old media too," is an example of being a victim.

"You're lying about me, and I'm going to call you on it," is a slightly different thing. Of course, you can't see that, since your only goal is to smear Obama.
