By coming out with an overtly racist statement as bait and then accsuing Obama of playing the "race card" when he responded. Ferraro came right out and said, rather smugly, that "I don't expect Obama to play the race carrd again..." All the while fully knowing that there would be more race baiting to come. They intend to get Obama tangled up by race baiting then saying "he's playing the race card agian..." Quite devious.

I'm not a fly on the wall during Clinton's campaign strategy meetings. The only ones that would know that are her and Geraldine really.

What I do know is that she didn't put a stop to it. She didn't come out immediately and say, "Enough. This woman and her comments do not represent how I feel or what I believe. She is no longer affiliated with my campaign." That would have been enough for me. But this has gone on for days. And the initial, wimpy, "distancing" herself from Geraldine wasn't enough. She needed to make a STATEMENT. Reject and denounce.

The proof is right there before us. How many times have we heard the phrase, "Actions speak louder than words"? About 2.3 million. The actions of the campaign in the last few days are all the proof I need.
