Obama’s are from Mars, Hillary’s are from Venus

Their supporters, that is.

Much of the contention between these two camps boils down to the thesis of John Gray’s book, “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus”. Not in the specifics, but to the extent that differences in communication often lie at the basis of the disagreements.

To some degree, this explains why Obama supporters don't perceive ‘sexist’ comments perceived by the Hillary supporters, and why Hillary supporters are oblivious to racial comments directed at the Obama campaign.

Perhaps this is something to keep in mind as the silly season promises to continue into the summer months ahead.

So please take these timeless words to heart as we attempt to keep our collective heads above water until the General Election: “Be excellent to each other.”
