When a Campaign A acknowledges that they are going to throw the kitchen sink at Campaign B and issues of race, inexperience, sexism, calumny, homophobia, et. al, enter the political radar, who is most likely behind the brouhaha?

An unfair media? Campaign B?

Or...?

Sometimes the kitchen sink is the kitchen sink. Especially when the kitchen sink thrower admits that they are going to throw the kitchen sink. Occam's razor.

1. It is maddening to see Occam's razor misapplied

The idea is not that the first thing that pops into an uninformed and prejudiced mind is correct.

The point is that the one should favor the simplest explanation, given the totality of circumstances.

For instance, history tells us that the RW machine is far more disposed toward attacking presumptive Dem nominees through racism than Hillary Clinton is.

Example: The simplest explanation of why a RW outlet like the Drudge report splashes the "muslim" photo of Obama is that the Drudge report has been a clearing house for RNC propaganda forever and seeks to damage both Obama and Clinton.

What's simpler?

The RW has their hand up Ferraro's ass or...
The RW made the 3am ad or...
The RW made Hillary say she and McCain were the only exp. candidates or...

Maddening indeed.
