When Hillary Clinton was called out by, most especially John Edwards, for not giving straight answers in the debates, it hurt her. When she used typical Clintonian tactics of taking both sides of an issue, it damaged her. Not just with the illegal immigration question, but with all questions.
When Hillary is asked about releasing her tax returns, or documents from the Clinton Library she hedges and appears not honest. These tactics employed exclusively by both Clintons are the primary reasons for the division in the Democratic party.
