I am not anti-Obama. I am pro-America.
And I am not saying being pro-Obama is anti-American! (I know how people here like to put words in your mouth)

I like Obama. I may have to vote for him, and I do not bad-mouth him.

I try to focus my posts on what I think is best for America, taking into consideration what I know and have experienced. I don't let popularity and grandstanding by either candidate sway me in any way. I consider where we are and where we need to be, then hash out what I feel are our best choices. I respect your opinions, but honestly, I feel mine are the most prudent. Don't we all?

Feel free to attack what I say. That's what we're here for...to hash things out. But, when you feel like attacking me personally to make a point, you become irrelevant. I feel the same about anyone attacking another DUer. If you disagree with what they are saying, say so, without trying to belittle or demean that person. That just lends to make you look foolish.

Friends, Americans, countrymen, lend me your ears.............but keep your smart-assed remarks to yourself!

I voted for Clinton in the primary. I will vote for the nominee in November. I will be content either way. Will you?

1. Obama is failing to sway Hillary supporters
This will backfire miserabally in the general.

If the election were held today, neither would get my vote.

2. Hear! Hear!
I am pro-Obama, pro-America. I will vote for Obama in the Primary. I will vote for the Dem nominee in November. Period.

We could get farther without smart-ass comments, they are self-replicating once they start.

4. A few days ago.........
.....I noticed you were involved in a thread discussion we both paticipated in. I don't remember the specific thread, but what I do remember is that no one resorted to name calling or personal attacks, from either side. It was lengthy, and that made me proud of DU. It also gave what you said more credence. Better to discuss than to cuss. Rational minds build better governments. Thank you.
