KO handled his mission well. He limited his critique to a call to Clinton to stop this line of attack.

Our country has been making progress turning away from the history of bad racial relations. The recent set of comments being made by people who know better is like a walk-back to a time we would do well to never revisit. My daughter is 24; she and her friends have moved to a new horizon. Good! I hope that Team Clinton take Keith's advice and look at what America promises it can be.

For those who would think that somehow racism is something that Camp Obama is manufacturing; think again. Identity politics is not part of his message because that is not who the Senator is, nor does he benefit in anyway at all from this current horrible turn in the direction of the campaign. Defining your opponent is a standard campaign tactic, but in this case, it is the road to far.
