Will The Obama Camp Sit FL & MI In June If They'll Still Have A Big Pop Vote & Delegate Lead After?
What do you folks think is the chance that the Obama campaign will eventually just allow Michigan and Florida to be seated if they'd still have a delegate lead of over 100 and a significant lead in the popular vote? Do you think it's possible that after they basically have the assurance of the democratic party that they'll be the nominee that they'll just let Hillary have what she won in those states so that there's no controversy and everything will be settled?

Would this be fair?

How likely is it that could be the solution?

7. Why is it unfair? Obama wouldn't care because he'd still get the nomination and Clinton would get
to have them seated.

2. It looks like the parties involved are nearing a solution.
MI will most likely have a re-vote, by mail, or "firehouse primary" style. Dean, the state, and both camps seem on board for the mail re-vote. They are working out who will fund it.

FL is tending toward the same direction, although there is a bit more a push and argument to seat as is.

They will(or better) have it resolved before the Convention.

3. Obama doesn't want a re-vote by mail in Michigan

Obama doesn't even want Michigan to re-vote - now.

http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080312/NEWS15/80312065

In Lansing, the co-chairs of Obama’s campaign rejected outright the idea of a mail-in campaign and said they were opposed to any kind of do-over vote. But the senator’s national campaign manager David Plouffe was more circumspect.

Obama was for a re-vote in Michigan before he was against it.

9. And Hillary was for excluding the FL & MI delegates before she was for it
"Obama was for a re-vote in Michigan before he was against it."

What a stupid comment. Yes, he's not for any solution to this problem that gives Hillary every advantage or invites huge amounts of fraud.

12. He wants 50% of the votes and he didn't even show up in Michigan?
I can't wait until the people of Michigan hear this!

4. Hillary wants them to spend millions or award the state she had no competitors in.
That's not a choice.

Come up with the money Hillary, and tell everyone you want the win in MI where you were the only one who competed in because you agreed MI would not count, and why you just left your nameon the ballot. That is cheating.

5. He's going to need the help of the FL & MI state parties if he wins the nomination
It would be against his best interests to be perceived as being opposed to the FL & MI delegates.

6. He wouldn't be against anything though, because they'd be seated at the convention.

8. Seat them AFTER a nominee is chosen
So they get no say-so on the nominee, but can otherwise participate at the convention.
