5. I don't know how long Justice Stevens wants to serve on the Court.
He has been a most honorable Justice. But he's also 87 years old.

Let's give him a Democratic President and a bigger majority in the Senate so that if Justice Stevens wants to retire, he can do so knowing that the vacancy will be filled by a good moderate Democratic Justice.

Okay, now that the pain is subsiding,.... seriously. The Supremes may very well become involved if the MI and FL delegates are not seated... screams of disenfranchment and all that. Okay, got it out, moving on... topic for a different thread, diff day and all that ;).

...BO likes Mary, and Hilary always liked Mary Birdsong for some reason. Anyway, I haven't seen BO or Hilary asked about this, as to who they would appoint. Have they been?
