Cheney is the real exception and Al Gore had a portfolio but no real power.
The real power behind the throne is usually Chief of Staff andI would not wish that on anyone with bill wandering the halls looking for something to do.
If Hillary makes it all the way to the White House, the VP would be overshadowed by Bill Clinton. At least, that is the way it looks to me. Bill Clinton has such a large personality.
