Hillaryworld Hypocrites Abound
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 08:52 AM by cali
After whining and screeching about how Obama supporters have no right to suggest Hillary drop out after 11 straight blow out losses, Hillworld denizens are all over DU demanding that Obama drop out after losing 3 contests- one narrowly and two by double digits, though hardly the kind of numbers he bested her with in 12 wins.

Personally, I never suggested that Hill drop out, until and unless she lost OH and/or TX. Clearly that didn't happen and she is completely justified in fighting on.

But for the screaming hillbots demanding that Obama, who is still in the lead by 100+ delegates, to drop out, is a case of filthy hypocrisy. Let me suggest you have no ground whatsoever to stand on.

1. I agree
as a General Clark supporter I suggest that those who support Clinton take a look at how Obama supporters act and follow accordingly. Lordy what a mess that would make.

It appears that most are just doing it to get a dig in on Obama supporters.

3. That's why I posted this thread:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4880958&mesg_id=4880958

I knew some of the hillary supporters would be calling for Obama to drop out.

11. Once again we're back to "my states are better than your states"
The game doesn't depend on what states are red or blue.

Why pretend like it's some overall attitude? Why not just give the individual posters a hard time instead of berating all Hillary Clinton supporters here as 'Hillbots'?

You sound really bitter this morning . . . and desperate. Hope you feel better.

8. People are trying to show the Obamanation what it feels like.
If Obama supporters don't like being treated dismissively, if not rudely, by Hillary supporters, they should stop treating Hillary supporters as if our superior, better prepared, vetted and honorable candidate was an unworthy interloper.

All that is happening this morning is a little Karma; the Obamanation is getting back a little of what they've been so arrogantly dishing out.

Anybody who is suggesting Obama should drop out in light of last night's developments is being ironic or moronic...I suspect it's the former...

14. Hey! We agree on something!
Wasn't sure that was ever going to happen! Neither should drop out at this point.

I have no idea what the popular vote count is, but whoever wins the most votes of Americans should be our president and the other the vice-president. No matter who wins, they both make history! First black/female prez and first black/female VP.

With neither able to win by delegates, I think, for once, the people's votes should count....all of them!

They should tally the votes in all 50 states and whoever has the most wins, and I don't care which one it is. Of course, this would require a revote in Fla and MI, but it seems to me to be the only logical way to resolve this issue.

We got screwed in 2000 by the electoral college, even tho we had a half-million more votes. I think the dems should use the popular vote to chose their candidate. I'm sure Obama is probably ahead in this count, right now, but there are still a lot of states to count. If he gets more votes, he should win, and Hillary should be his VP.

I am sure that they are just copycatting the Obama threads that have been excessive here for months.

I hope their are lessons learned on both sides.

21. I wouldn't consider a wash in delegates a win for her.
Reality will set in as Wyoming & Mississippi comes around, and people go back to looking at delegates, and see her so far behind. She has no chance of taking the lead at this point.

27. It is 99% joking
I don't doubt there are one or two crazies, but most of the Obama must drop out posts are mockery of the persistent calls for Clinton to drop out, not serious proposals.
