Super Tuesday deja vu
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 08:02 AM by thesubstanceofdreams
This second Super Tuesday is almost a copy of the first. Obama was coming with the momentum and was closing the gap in the polls, but at the last minute the tide reversed and Hillary won the bigger states. In the end, however, Hillary needed huge victories in both Super Tuesdays, and got them in neither. The excitement in Clinton's camp is understandable and deserved, because they were seriously contemplating defeat in Texas and a tie in Ohio, but after the emotions give place to rational analysis, the media and both camps will come to understand and accept that this was Clinton's latest opportunity to stop Obama and she didn't.
