11. Yep killing hope for the retugs.
Last night proves she energizes the Democratic base which is something Obama has not been able to do in the Major Blue States.

13. He came from way behind and nearly caught her.
It wasn't all that unexpected. If she hadn't gone all Republican on him, he probably would have won.

He would have never caught her.

19. What did he do that was "Republican?"
I don't recall seeing any clips where Obama says McCain is experienced, he's experienced and Hillary was just a Christmas tree decorator for 8 years.

25. My original response pointed to Hillary's trashing of Obama by
pumping up McCain. Throwing a fellow Democrat under the bus. It was a despicable act. Obama may very well end up the nominee and she managed to write a scathing commercial for McCain.

5. She also solved the "How do we elect a Republican after Bush?" issue.
Gotta hand it to her, that one was tough. The Republicans sure didn't figure it out.

6. If Obama can't beat Hillary, how in the hell is he going to beat a Republican.
No Obama supporter has been able to answer that question. Want to give it a try?

7. Psssst
He IS beating Hillary.

Also---I'd assume at least some Hillary supporters would vote for Obama over McCain. Maybe I'm wrong.

16. Hillary is not a popular candidate nationally.
Obama has appeal with Independents and Republicans, and the more people get to know him, the more they seem to like. Most people seem to have made up their minds about Hillary, for better and worse. It would be foolish to nominate someone whose political standing has been static for the past ten years and expect it to somehow magically change in time for the General Election. After twenty years of Bush/Clinton rule, McCain will seem like a breath of fresh air to people who don't know any better.

And she's not in the race...she has to pray that Obama turns out to be a child molester just to get close.

17. And what do you consider close?
They are less that 100 apart.

And the reason for that is DEMOCRATS not Independents or Republicans. Still no answer to the question, and there never will be one.

It's not my fault Dems have more open primaries. Someone must have thought it would be a good idea to appeal to more than just the not even a third of the electorate that calls itself Democrat.

27. Close is "within striking distance of parity."
Short of Obama getting 25% from here on out, she can't do it. There aren't enough states left, even if Florida and Michigan re-vote.
