What I find APPALING are the BASELESS accusations against DU's Obama supporters.
Calling us tasteless, arrogant, etc., is not going to do your cnadidate or this Party any favors.

14. And that's what it's about.
Obama supporters are being rational. If Hillary and suppoerters have a case to make I wish SOMEBODY would do so. I'm all ears if any of them can explain to me how this could be beneficial to the party. Because so far it looks pretty clear that she can't win delegates numerically without damaging the party. She's got to take Obama DOWN to win by the percentages necessary to get the most delegates.

Gross.

2. She needs us (Obama voters) in the fall as much as we would need them
If we don't understand that, then the Democratic nomination will be worth about as much as it was to George McGovern in 1972.

21. I can pretty much say at this time that if Hillary is the nom, I will...
...NOT vote for her. I will go to the polls and vote a straight Dem ticket as I always have in the past and just pass voting on the Prez portion. No way in hell will I EVER vote for her.

26. I have not been a very vocal supporter of Obama
In fact, I just signed up for his campaign after Hillary was mocking him. I was just discussing with my husband that I will vote for the local dog catcher for president before I vote Hillary. Nasty doesn't even describe her and so I guess I will just have to bite my lip for many months on DU if she is the nominee.

There are apparently a lot of 80 yr old white ladies & uneducated, fearful racist white men.. That's her new base :)..oops I forgot the hispanics who will be verily surprised when she sells them down the river once she goes back to the senate after McCain's victory.

She does not need middle-of-the-road, educated, liberal people , enthusiastic, hopeful independents, young people, or apparently black people either, since Bill threw them under the bus.

11. True.
If Clinton could consider herself still in the race after having lost 11 straight, then losing 3 primaries, winning 1 and coming out even (or maybe ahead) in delegates for the night shouldn't change much.

25. Tasteless and arrogant? I must say,
Mrs. Clinton hasn't done herself any favors with her chosen methods of political repartee that sound like Republican politics as usual. Methods affect outcome, there is simply no getting around it. She and her supporters even more, so it appears, are taking on the habits of the Republican adversaries. How sad that is.

29. Not you, but some of them almost dissuaded me from caucusing for Obama (as I did tonight). Truly,
many of Obama's supporters here are doing him no favors. Some of those who fancy themselves the most clever are, in fact, the biggest impediments to Obama gathering additional supporters here.

P.S. -- The media calling Texas for Hillary was premature. You'll wake up tomorrow and they will be reporting that Hillary won the Texas PRIMARY but Obama won the Texas CAUCUS and the delegate haul was a wash in Texas.

37. Everybody needs to take a deep breath...
the contest goes on, and the candidates are both up to it.

How about some mutual respect and a cease fire on the snarky name calling on both sides. Assume lurkers are justifiably laughing their asses off as they imagine our party imploding into fire and rubble. We have the best two individuals running and the toughest two campaign organizations I have seen in my lifetime...relax and get a grip - there are months to go still.
