To Those That Say My State Knows How To Pick A President
In 2000 Ohio elected Dubya. Then it repeated that tragic mistake again in 2004, when hindsight plainly dictated another, less idiotic course of action.

2. And they will go for McCain in Nov.
Whomever is the nominee. I hope the nominee focuses on genuinely flippable states like Colorado and Iowa.

10. It's not true.
OH just elected a democratic governor by a huge margin.
Depending on a candidate, democrat could win OH.

15. Cincy (southern OH) went for Obama - get your facts straight and get over it because
Ohioans being called racist so often has turned a great many of them to Hillary and then McCain for the GE. So thanks for that, since we tend to be a red state to begin with. It really has helped the cause.

4. No president has ever won without winning Ohio in the primary.
If this is really about getting a Democrat in the White House, that is big.

6. UMMMM!
Ohio was stolen by Bush in 2004--with Mr. Blackwell's willing and able assistance. Ohio DID not "elect" Dubya in 2004! I can't speak for 2000. But the reported results were very tainted in 2004. Are things more honest today?

12. Well, Blackwell is gone.
If you are looking toward GE, I don't think you have much to worry about.

13. Okay,..maybe Blackwell's gone....
but the vote stealing systems are probably still in place. Maybe the equipment is different and some faces have changed, but...What's that saying:

"Once a thief, always a thief!"

In my mind, Ohio has to PROVE it is clean. Until then, the state is always going to be considered dirty by me!
