4. If CNN exit polls are to be believed ... Hillary may have a trifecta
CNN exit polls:

Rhode Island -

Male (43%) - 56% Obama, 43% Clinton
Female (57%) - 58% Clinton, 41% Obama

Ohio -

Male (41%) - 52% Obama, 47% Clinton
Female (59%) - 54% Clinton, 45% Obama

Texas -

Male (43%) - 52% Obama, 46% Clinton
Female (57%) - 53% Clinton, 46% Obama

----------------------
My calcs:
If the above exit poll numbers hold Clinton wins with 53% in RI and...
Clinton wins Ohio with 52%

Clinton wins Texas with 52%

6. Big cities aren't in yet.
Why does everyone always get so worked up early on? If you've watched any election so far - every total changes, and often in big ways - as the major cities start reporting in. Pop some popcorn, it's going to be a long night for both camps.

the only way she can realistically win is by using the super delegates to over turn the pledged delegate count.

She'll be forced to step aside tomorrow when Obama gets new bloc of endorsements.

Plus, the math is clear - Hillary cannot get any further.

Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 10:53 PM by GreenTea
CA, NY, NJ, Ohio, MI, FL, AZ and perhaps Texas (along with some smaller states she's won )...only big state PA is next, and if she wins that state....it will be all over for Obama!

9. It's still early
TX is gonna be close, and Harris County hasn't started reporting yet. RI was always going to go her way. And OH is still too close to call. Even if she does win all 3, it won't make a big dent on her delegate count.

Congrats to Hillary on RI though (no sarcasm at all, it's a fair win. She did well)

but if Houston and Austin haven't fully reported, things can change either way fast. I think I'll just hang tight here. I would also like to say I will vote for either Dem but I do have more confidence in Obama than in Clinton.

I would love to get Queen Hillary out of the race ASAP so we can start going after McCain instead of dealing with her lies 24/7 and her doing bullshit things likr endorsing McLame.
