Remember when Clinton was crucified over the "black hawk down" incident
in Mogadishu? So where's the media outrage over the endless series of incidents like today's? Now we even have civilians being murdered, mutilated, and dragged through the streets, not to mention over 400 dead American soldiers, yet the whores never question naked emperor's decision to invade Iraq!

1. The hypocrasy is staggering.
I'm emailing all the networks telling them they better not shove this story under the mattress like Bush wants them to.

5. MSNBC is doing a better job of coverage than CNN.
Even when the CNN hosts talk about it I hate their little smiley faced demeanors. How about acting like REAL journalists for once Solidad and 'what's your name'.

8. God I detest that woman
Soledad and that idiot Carol Costello on Daybreak make me want to shoot my television...(AND that Heidi with the short red hair.)
They can barely speak of a Dem without showing out and out venom.
I think the most disgusting part is that they clearly just want the tax cuts for the 200 thousand a year plus set.

2. Agreed - how "Blackhawk Down" was used to smear Clinton was a disgrace
All the "after the fact" armchair general sure are quiet now.

6. It's UNBELIEVABLE! Reporters are being killed over there!
I guess *'s re-Selection is more important than the lives of their friends and fellow citizens! :puke:

10. That's because the whores editorialized in favor of the invasion.
Focusing on Bush's failures would only highlight their own mistakes.

It's like the whole Whitewater thing with Clinton. The major papers devoted tons of headlines and editorials about a non-scandel. Once they had a vested interest in the story they were never oging to admit they had been duped by the "vast right wing conspiracy."

11. What soldiers were dragged through the streets this time?
The people being dragged were food aid workers trying to help the people of Iraq. If they tried that with real soldiers they would get some serious lead poisoning. These thugs that hanged the aid workers are nothing but cowards and the worst kind of people.

13. The TV news said they worked for a food aid group
Sounds like they were trying to help feed hungry Iraqis to me. Hardly a crime worth being burned, dragged and hanged in public.

14. Where does it say that? They worked for a security firm.
Quote from MSNBC.com:
"The brutal treatment of the bodies occurred after the contractors — four American employees of a North Carolina security company — were killed in a rebel attack on their two SUVs in the city about 35 miles west of Baghdad, scene of some of the worst violence on both sides of the conflict since the beginning of the American occupation a year ago."

17. Security for food aid groups
Shame on them for guarding food delivery to hungry Iraqis. No need to burn them.

That's like sending the 4th ID to watch CC video of a 7-11.

20. Those who were burned and hanged were likely former U.S. military.
Apparently they are very heavily armed and well paid. It's open season on all foreigners and collaborators over there and anyone who couldn't have predicted this is a complete dolt.

These men were fathers, brothers, and sons and the horrific things done to them is directly out of the opposition to the British occupation of Iraq handbook. Same tactics, new century.

What is that quote about those who fail to learn from history?

16. Possibly you may not want them to make too much of a fuss
Because then it might become a prestige and credibility issue for bush* and in election year too. And then he will go and do something really stupid. He has got the freepers baying for blood (probably, I haven't been over there) and then he has got his neo-cons, who like to do things the israel way, pointing out that it is difficult to be taken seriously as the leader of the planet whilst the burnt corpses of your citizens are being dragged through Iraqi towns.

You could end up with another 'soldiers and bulldozers go into town and kill lots of people and knock lots of buildings down' type thing.

23. I gather you missed the point of the Mogadishu fiasco
which was a forced political operation of the military that should never have happened as opposed to some cililian guys being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

you're comparing apples to blenders.
