2. I believe he will be flying into Charlotte
Perhaps someone will get to take him to lunch here though. We have a number of restaurants that offer vegan dishes. :-)
Don't worry we'll make sure he has a good visit.

3. good news G_j!!!!
Enjoy his visit-- his enthusiasm is VERY infectious, and he handles a crowd very well. In fact, the best parts of his visits tend to be the Q&A portion at the end of his main speech. He's very well-informed, thoughtful, and an excellent speaker for progressive ideals.

Enjoy!

Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 06:59 PM by G_j
w/o health insurance..

Here in Asheville we have many folks that love him, but we're bit more progressive here than a lot of the state. NC is more or less 'Bush country' :-)

6. Dennis in Boone, NC Saturday
We get to host him up in the mountains for a very early Saturday talk. Have booked a sizeable venue on the campus of Appalachian State University. It's all pretty exciting and whirlwind.

8. He has said this many times b4
Kucinich is in the race till the convention.

i did get an interesting phone call today from the local campaign office. it was asking for more contributions (which i can't do right now) and volenteer (which i gladly do) and in the spiel it they said that we support kerry (which i do, but surprised me to hear at first), but are trying to change the platform. I know that this is not Kucinich himself, but it is someone working in his campaign saying it.

Our state coordinator's words. I will be part of a team helping to pick him up and take him around the state. We start in a homeless shelter at breakfast early Saturday morning. Sounds like Dennis, doesn't it?

18. Wish I could post the schedule for Dennis in Colorado
It would be nice to be able to let other Colorado Kucitizens know exactly where and when to see him.

However, someone in their infinite wisdom made it not possible to copy it, so....

If you're interested, go to
http://www.coloradoforkucinich.net/0404visit.asp

I guess it's possible to print it out... dunno.

Hope we get Colorado dems here at these events.

Right now I wish I was in NC! Sounds like you're going to have a great time!
