Just saw one of Kerry's new ads
Edited on Tue Mar-30-04 10:13 AM by devrc243
Anybody know who is putting these together? Saw a segment last week on Hardball showing how they put these ads together--positive and negative ones. Anybody see this?

They discussed how something as simple as the music can change the tone of the ad. I thought it was very interesting and quite telling.

I would love to work on something like this.

1. I also like the observation about where the politician shows up
If it is an attack ad, the pol shows up first "I approved this ad"

If it is a "apple pie" ad, the pol shows up last "I approved this ad"

2. what state are you in ? no kerry ads in california here
but i see a bunch of bush ads and it's sickening. even in 2000 we got a bunch of bush ads and no gore ads. but i don't want kerry to spend money in california if he doesn't need to. they have internal polls showing whether kerry has a comfortable enough lead to put off advertising. i'm sure gore people had the same which is why they didn't run ads here.
