Hillary's 60 Min. "Obama/Muslim" remark is desperate, divisive, despicable & unforgivable. Instead
of coming to the aid of a fellow democrat in the face of a vile smear campaign, she compounded it. I used to find both Hillary and Obama to be appealing candidates. No more.

19. That's what need to be considered. She's far too precise a poltician ...
... to not know the message she was communicating.

6. First of all, it wasn't a "statement" --
it was a response to a question.

That being said, it was smarmy and underhanded and really really disappointing. She appears to have no shame.

9. Whatever came out of her mouth was "unacceptable". Ironically, she, herself
would have been better served by defending him and putting this BS smear to rest. She would have come across as classy and statesmen-like. For that matter, the Democrats would have been better served to. Instead, she got Rovian on a fellow democrat. We all lose, especially Hillary.

13. I agree --
I just felt calling it a "statement" (as though she'd called a press conference or said it during a stump speech or something), wasn't fair.

Even though she's disgusting me beyond belief, I still try to be fair.

But on the other hand, as you note, the bottom line is the same, so I'll retire from sainthood now.

And I HOPE it reflects as negatively on her as she hoped it would reflect on Obama.

20. Your post presumes that she has an interest in winning votes and pledged delegates.
She knows she cannot catch up on pledged delegates and so a few lost or gained here or there no longer matter to her. Instead, she is focused solely on smearing Obama and bloodying him politically, with the design to then have the superdelegates override Obama's pledged delegate plurality and anoint her as the nominee -- perhaps with MI & FL delegate chicanery tossed-in.

11. When she kicked John Kerry over the "stuck in Iraq"
comment. Demanding that he apologize. It was pretty gutless and calculating to attack him and join in on his stomping by the media, when she knew what he meant.

17. So, my outrage is fake... why because yo do not agree with me? Pathetic., Tarc,
but not as pathetic as Hillary for not putting fake questions about Barack's faith to rest. And who decides it is a non-issue? You??

16. I just watched the clip of Hillary. What in the world is wrong with
you people. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what she said. She hasn't known him his entire life, she only knows what he wants her to know. She stated what she knows. Why would you think someone would put their their honesty and integrity on the line making a statement that could come back and bite her. Actually I think his being an Atheist is as bad as being a muslim. He was or could actually still be an atheist. Does anyone know when he converted? Was it when he decided to run for office?
