Priceless Bush - Kerry photo juxtaposition on CNN front page
http://www.cnn.com/

The photo's included here in case they change it before you click on the CNN link above. Right now it's on the front page with the URL for their lead story, "Bush, Kerry push economic agendas."

Bush looks like he's auctioning off the prize pig at the State Fair, Kerry looks like he really feels sorry for the poor clueless S.O.B. (or maybe he's trying to plug that one ear to cut down on the "Dubya-isms")...:-)

There's NO WAY that the juxtaposition of these two photos isn't "subtle political commentary"...

2. Kerry was watching Granholm speak there i think
i think that shot of kerry is from while he was watching governor jennifer granholm speak. and of course the bush pic is from him struggling to remember, read , and sound out the words in his speech even though it's right in front of him.

4. To me... it looks like
Bush is saying Rah! Rah! Let's go to war Bla, Bla, Bla...all hype and shouting. It looks like Kerry is thinking things over and trying to decide what is the best thing to do instead of jumping in with both feet without thinking. One's a thinker...the other is a reactor. One's thoughtful..the other one is a cheerleader. One is Smart...the other is dumb.

7. I'm sick of those red ties too. Give it a rest...
That green tie is kickin'. That pinkish-coral shade that seems to be in vogue is a nice, pleasant change that I like. Just say no to red ties. :grr:

9. They changed it already!!!!
http://www.cnn.com/

...just a picture of Kerry talking, no tie, nondescript. Same pic of Bush, but more of a closeup on his "dynamic" face. No implied "interaction" or "reaction" as in the apparent COLLECTORS ITEM above!!!

I'd love to know why CNN changed it. Maybe a freeper was doing a routine surveillance of DU and reported it to them...:-(

11. But Kerry has an American flag backdrop,
and still looks more sensible than Bush, who looks like he's singing selections from his latest CD, "Songs For Billionaire Contributors."

20. God!
Bush looks like the auctioneer (previously mentioned) and Kerry looks like a derelict in need of a bath and shave. Sure doesn't look rested to me. So much for vacations.

10. that proves it. CNN is liberal
forget about right-leaning Shneider, Woodruff, Crowley, Blitzer, and Zahn doing what should be centrist/unslanted coverage, conservative Novak on 4 or 5 shows, and the constant effort to reduce the amount of time Carville or Begala get even though they're countered by conservatives

16. Bush almost looks like he's waving goodbye...
...on his way back to Crawford for the last time, leaving Kerry to heal the wounds, restore the broken international relationships, and bring dignity back to the WORKING middle class.

No more Karl Rove. No more Karen Hughes. No more Evil Dick. No more Rummy. No more scowling Condi. No more "bend me over and I won't complain a bit" Colin.

Yep, I like this better than the first two photos. Bush fading into the sunset and Kerry applauding as he leaves the White House for the last time.

It's a beautiful thing.

:toast:

23. * looks like a televangelist.
Does anyone else believe that he really did get 1206 on his SATs as reported in today's Post?

They aren't public info, and I doubt his self-report.
