I have my doubts about both Barack and Hillary...
Neither are perfect. But they are both good candidates. I also think either one would make an excellent president. And certainly they both are light years better than McCain.

2. Edwards Dem here
:hi:

I went with Obama because we have a career (R) in the house that we are looking to unseat with a relatively unknown Dem.

If Obama can bring the new/young vote to the polls in Nov -- we will sweep. I really don't think that Hillary will draw that same level of excitement and enthusiasm here.

I really, REALLY miss JRE's voice in this contest though.

3. I hear you.
Kucinich fan here. I had the pleasure of being at OSU/Columbus, OH On Wednesday and heard Obama. It was very inspiring. I am working my butt off for him in Ohio and if he can pull this one off we may just get what we asked for. Peace, Kim

I think he'll do for poverty what Al Gore has done for global warming.

7. their war positions for example.
Both of their health care plans. I worry that they are both too status quo oriented. I have issues with some of their other foreign policy positions too. I wonder if both wouldn't give up too much while reaching across the aisle. I look at Hillary's role in health care reform during Bill's presidency, and I wonder if she'll be as secretive and flawed as a president as she was then. I look at Obama's rhetoric on the war before he was in office, and compare it to his efforts to stop it once in office, and it disappoints me. So then I wonder will he be like that on all issues? Like I said, they are both good candidates, would probably make an excellent president, but both are flawed.

6. How could you write such a rational,
evenhanded post. How dare you actually think they'd both be good presidents and better than McCain? Don't you know we're at war? War by golly! If Obama wins, then we might actually withdraw from Iraq, get sane appointments to the Court and implement sound economic policy once again! If Clinton wins, then we might actually withdraw from Iraq, get sane appointments to the Court and implement sound economic policy once again! The horror!

The only answer is to vote Kucinich/Edwards. :)

8. that would be my ideal choice
I am a Kucinich voter, and I always liked Edwards, but HRC and Obama can handle their business too. They speak for me on many issues, that's for sure. :)

11. For all sad words of tongue and pen,
the saddest are these- what might have been!

I was actually a Gore supporter who never really got behind any of the other campaigns, but I do like Kucinich and Edwards. If by some miracle any of the 3 were to get the nomination through, oh I don't know, say a brokered convention, I wouldn't complain. :)

Sour grapes. :P

12. I am deftly positioning myself for a VP spot
although, I still will probably get the nomination.
