I am writing to you now to ask you to act in support of my good
friend Senator John Kerry. John will be our next President, I am
sure of it, and he will lead this country with wisdom and an
unswerving vision. He knows that we can once again inspire the world
with our optimism and strength.

But make no mistake: we're in the fight of our lives. This president
will stop at nothing to win in November, and he would rather help his
insider friends than take the steps we desperately need to create
jobs and restore hope to everyday Americans. He is using fear and
division to obscure what the American people know: that we need a new
leader in the White House. And he would rather distort John Kerry's
record and try to win by throwing mud than tell the truth and expose
his real record.

Fortunately, the American people are all too aware of the truth about
George W. Bush. Over 3 million of them have lost their jobs under
his watch, as they've seen his CEO cronies double and triple their
own salaries. 35 million Americans live in poverty, desperate for
work and respect, watching incredulously as the government hands tax
breaks to big business. And Americans of all backgrounds have
watched the gap between rich and poor widen under his administration,
and realized that only the rich do well in George W. Bush's America.

But John Kerry will build one America -- one that works for all of
us, not just the privileged few. But to do this, we must stand
together and support John against the Republican attack machine.
