How Hillary shot herself in the foot, or feet.
After 13 months of campaigning, of assiduously trying to take the edge off her speaking voice, of toning down
the kind of political rhetoric that made many (including me) dislike her in the past, Hillary managed to impress millions
(again, including me) with her intelligence, her grasp of issues, her diligence and her stamina.

The IWR still grated, as did the Kyl-Lieberman vote, but I tried to be understanding.

Reluctantly, I found myself letting go of old doubts and accepting her as an admirable candidate.
No one was more surprised than I at this turn of events. I was a Kucinich to Edwards to Obama voter, but I was able to
recognize the fact that Hillary had some stellar qualities and, if nominated, would make an excellent presidential candidate.

Bang, BANG. BANG BANG BANG!!!

No more.

The last debate alarmed me. While most people were praising her closing statement as being conciliatory and uniting, I saw those remarks
as a purely political move on her part. She had roused the audience to a loud chorus of "Boo!" with her awkward and erroneous remark
about "Xeroxing," and was clever enough to realize she needed to neutralize that comment before the debate was over, so she
said (not once, not twice, but three times) how "honored" she was to be on that stage with Obama. Too many times for it to be sincere,
I thought. We are being duped.

And her behavior since then has proven it. The nastiness, the jealousy ("Enough with the speeches and the big rallies..."), the manufactured anger
at a flier that had been out for weeks, The "Shame on you, Barack Obama" diatribe directed not to a gigantic crowd but a gaggle of reporters,
the mockery, the divisiveness, the mud-slinging and empty accusations - all have served to shake the dust off the memories of the "old" Hillary,
the one I didn't trust, the one who made me think she'd do anything to win - just like a Republican.

But as our Worst President Ever has said, "Fool me once... argh, ...".

There is no way Hillary can pull out her "nice" personality for tonight's debate. No one will believe her.

Another run, in another election? No way. Not gonna happen.
Wouldn't be prudent.
Shut the lights on your way out...

7. Nothing can make me get past the IWR. Kerry made me vomit too.
Pro-war politicians should be shining toilets in bus stations.

14. I couldn't agree more.
they can stuff their fake apologies (and Hillary can't even conjure up a fake one!).

Their votes for the Iraq war is carved in stone as someone who has terrible judgement or terrible complicity or terrible self-servedness. or all of the above.

feh.

16. Terrible judgment is obviously what she has:
IWR vote
Kyl-Lieberman
Campaign only planning to go as far as Super Tuesday
Running out of money
Firing of advisers so late in the game
Ill-conceived Xerox comment
Fake outrage re fliers
Awful impersonation of a fake preacher

and on and on.

Over, and out!

18. Beyond the IWR vote, there is every indication that she will use the
same non-restraint against other nations in the future (kyl-lieberman vote just proves it)
Not that i am very optimistic about obama, either.

11. Now, I KNOW that "bang" is sexist. LOL.
Nice summary, and I'm with you. After the last debate I was willing to cut her a little slack, but it's now apparent that it's all a game with the Clintons.

12. Either that, or she's auditioning for the lead role in a re-make of "Sybil."
