Hillary, better to have reconciliation then fireworks tonight
The people have spoken and in just about every quarter the evidence is obvious and mounting that Obama will be our nominee. From polls giving Obama a 15% lead nationally, to switching super delegates, to Obama's surge in both TX (now tied or ahead by a few) to quickly closing the gap in OH, add Dodd's endorsement today --- it's over.

It might not be as fun to watch, but if Hillary and Obama come away from tonight's debate with an emphasis on reconciliation, that itself would be best for a rapid reunification of the party.

I think many would see stepped up attacks on Obama as akin to flailing in the wind. Up to now, I think Hillary can exit with most of her political capital intact, and still move into a Senate Leader position or maybe even a cabinet appointment. Though to continue to rage against the tide beyond this week and in particular after March 4th, may permanently effect her ability to return in any meaningful way to a position of leadership within the party.

With all due respect to Hillary supporters, we need you in the fall and the real enemy now is not Obama, but that war mongering lame ass excuse for a politician who plans to be Shrub the 3rd - McCain. When the dust settles and some wounds have healed, it will be great to work together to finally have a voice of reason and hope in the White House.

peace~:)

1. The primaries are still too close for her to give up
but I do agree that unification is a better strategy than going negative. It hasn't worked for her yet and it continues to exacerbate the negative perceptions of her than already exist. If people thought she was shrill and unlikeable before than she's only reinforcing that image.

2. I Hope It's An All Out No Holds Barred Bout Tonight.
It's time for her to show how strong she can be and why, when rhetoric is cast aside, she is definitively the better choice for president. Now granted, she has to be careful with how she comes across while doing so and needs to be the one in control as opposed to flustered, but she absolutely needs to come out swingin tonight in my opinion. I'm looking quite forward to the debate tonight. Can't wait to see how it goes!
