Ok. Can we lock this entire BOARD for a little time out?
So far I've read a thread about Clinton's antics being due to menopause (despite that she is more than likely past it, despite that her antics are completely calculated for political purposes), and another one belittling Obama because he stutters sometimes.

Just spill some coffee on the server, or something. EVERYBODY go sit in a corner!

3. YOU think she probably leaked the already-published photo to Drudge
You started a thread about it, a thread where someone called HRC a "sexually frustrated skank."

4. Hey, *I* didn't say that!
The "sexually frustrated skank" part, I mean.

But I stand by my opinion that it's not beyond her campaign to bring attention to that photo, given the Rezko/plagiarism/flyers nonsense of the previous few weeks.

6. Now you hold people responsible for the replies to threads? Good grief.

10. Please tell me where I said that -- oh, nowhere
Posting the OP gave that asshole poster the platform. So yes, he is partially responsible, especially since he didn't call the poster on it. You DO have a responsibility when you post a controversial thread.

11. I don't think that thread was controversial at all
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 06:54 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd
Sorry, but I don't see why it's so hard to imagine the Clinton campaign being responsible for the attention the Obama photo got today. They've been trudging through a mud pit for the past month and a half. All I said was that I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it came to light that Clinton herself emailed Drudge.

It was a comment on her campaign's recent tactics.

12. I'm for Obama and loathe so much of what Hillary Clinton stands for, but . . .
I don't see the need to go into the gutter to expose her
foibles. She has done an excellent job of doing that herself
and sinking her campaign in the process, especially with the
latest Rovian tactics she's been using against Obama. By the
same token, people here need not overreact to a few juveniles
who feel the need to stoop to such a low-level. They're just
making fools of themselves.

On the other extreme, it's gotten so bad, some around here are
starting to call any criticism of Hillary a sexist remark.

Everyone just needs to take a chill pill and stick to the
merits of why Obama is the superior candidate.

9. How much longer do you think the mods will hold up?
Pretty soon, it will be pointless to even try moderating. Some of the threads are already about 35% Message Deleted-Name Removed. Pretty funny to read. You want to know what got deleted.

13. "Agent orange politics."

Highly toxic, used with good intentions as a strategy---but creates long lasting problems on both sides. :banghead:
