Why Should Obama be allowed to Use State of the Art Swift-Boating Tactics on Hillary?
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 07:39 PM by Tellurian
when in effect, Obama is the Biggest Bull-Shitter that ever had the temerity to run for president. Obama is half preacher, half politician. He drags the crowds in as the venerable preacher of Hope and Inspiration then he slams them with political promises he can't deliver.

In the commercial he's running in my state, he's promising Health Care where EVERYONE IS COVERED... Obama's Health Care has been debated to death here...the fact that his Health Care Plan leaves million uninsured isn't in dispute. This is a prefect example of how he BOLD face Lies to his audience and is NEVER called on his LIES by Big Media.

The only people I've heard, who have the COURAGE to call Obama on his LIES, are President & Senator Clinton AND a well known Economist, Paul Krugman, who says: "To answer this question ("who has the better Health Care Plan Obama or Clinton")you need to make a detailed analysis of health care decisions. That’s what Jonathan Gruber of M.I.T., one of America’s leading health care economists, does in a new paper. Mr. Gruber finds that a plan without mandates, broadly resembling the Obama plan, would cover 23 million of those currently uninsured, at a taxpayer cost of $102 billion per year. An otherwise identical plan with mandates would cover 45 million of the uninsured — essentially everyone — at a taxpayer cost of $124 billion. Over all, the Obama-type plan would cost $4,400 per newly insured person, the Clinton-type plan only $2,700.

And Obama continues to "LIE"about the Clinton Health Care containing mandates saying there will be harsh penalties imposed on those who cannot afford to pay for it.. Which is another LIE!

Why in the World should anyone VOTE for a BOLD Faced LIAR like Obama for President? I thought Bush Lying about the urgency for War in Iraq was a Lesson Learned. We've had ENOUGH of LYING POLITICIANS in this Life Time, enough, for ALL of US!

to convince somebody else and they are simply now trying to convince themselves.

4. There have been links to articles that say that Krugman is wrong.
There have been many posts for Clinton's HP, against Clinton's HP, for Obama's HP, against Obama's HP.

In fact there are many articles in the media discussing the pro's and con's of both.

None of them are lying - they just have different points of view. That is what politics is all about.

10. Yes, I saw the Super Bull Shitter pundit J. Alters flimsy rebuttal..
Someone said, the reason his hair is falling out is because he is cursed. For every article he writes that is purposefully false, he looses 2 strands of hair..From the looks of him, he's been quite prolific in that department.

and see if you still think she was "screaming," or "acting like a maniac." Better yet, pretend she is a man, and listen to it with your eyes closed. Seriously.

14. Hillary is never held accountable
any other candidate would have been held accountable by now.

Mrs. Clinton is still "in this" because of the backing of her "Machine"

anyone else going 0-11 would have been dismissed by now.

anyone else with her record of votes would have been dismissed by now.

18. That's right. If she does it and claims that he does it, then it can't ...
be held against her. Give me a break! She can't have it both ways. I am an Obama supporter but she is really turning me against her. If she wins the Democratic nomination and there is nobody left to support her in the general election, who is she and her supporters going to blame then?

36. Hillary's Health Care "Solution".
The Hillary Plan:
Pass a LAW Forcing ALL Americans to BUY their OWN private Health Insurance from the "For Profit" Insurance Industry.

The Obama Plan:
Does not believe that we should pass a law forcing ALL Americans to buy Health Insurance, but will encourage all Americans to buy their own insurance.

Niether plan can be called "Universal HealthCare", though Hillary's plan CAN be called Universal Mandatory Health Insurance.

Neither candidate should be campaigning on the strengths of their Health Insurance Plans.
Both plans suck for Americans who Work for a Living.

The Only candidate with a Health Care Plan was Dennis Kucinich.

We will have to accept the fact that there will be no leadership from a "Centrist" president on HealthCare,
BUT
there is a Bill in Congress that extends MediCare to All.

Elect Progressives to Congress!
Send some money to Kucinich.
"Centrist" CorpoDemocrats are trying to force out the REAL Democrats!
