And we could have the labels come back!

ABR = Anyone but Richardson
ABC = Anyone but Clark
ABE = Anyone but Edwards
ABG = Anyone but Gephart
blah, blah, blah...

Because we were all so happy during the Presidential primaries.

My history is a bit fuzzy, but I seem to recall a time in American party politics where the convention nominated the vice president independently of the presidential candidate.

Am I confused or is that accurate?
