Poll: Bush leads in New Hampshire
Poll: Bush leads in New Hampshire
United Press International
Friday, March 19, 2004

----
MANCHESTER, N.H -- An American Research Group poll indicates if Ralph Nader is in the race, New Hampshire voters would choose George W. Bush over John Kerry by 6 points.
The poll of 463 registered voters released Friday indicates if independent Nader is included in the ballot test, Bush beats Kerry, D-Mass., 45 percent to 39 percent, with 8 percent going to Nader.
Without Nader, Bush still beats Kerry, the Democrat's probable nominee, but by just 2 points, 47 percent to 45 percent.
Ahough the election is still 8 months off, surveys in individual states are significant because U.S. presidential elections are decided based on the election returns in each state rather than by the winner of the national popular vote.

1. Ask Nader to Drop Out
Just went to the Nader website, used the contact link to ask Nader to drop out.

Link to Nader contact page:

3. I think NH has more Republics on the voting list.
I can not recall where to look it up now but it seems to me it is listed that way.

7. Huh?
Why would you use your "real" email?

Ask him to drop out and avoid spam and unwanted mail/calls by NOT using personal info.

19. Try going to the state section and
emailing the local manager. It may cause them to think about the harm they could potentially cause if they hear reasoned remarks.

5. BBV: I wonder if Nader is their vote stealing plan
The are using him like they used other party candidates to "siphon off" Kerry votes. Remember Florida where extra high number of votes went for strange presidential candidates?

This way they can fiddle the polls, then fiddle the election.

It was getting hard to fiddle the polls with * tanking.

9. I think the media and Rove have defined Kerry. The ad blitz
isn't being countered. This is bad news.

Karl Rove is a one man wrecking crew. He is the best political operative in history. We have got to do more to tear down Bush... Rove is having his way and has been for about two weeks.

12. Being from Massachusetts...
I find it so embarrassing that the state north of mine is red. It just doesn't make any sense. Could someone explain to me why they are?

15. My husband is originally from NH...
(my in-laws reside outside Manchester)

it could be resentment from the majority of NH re: lower NH becoming an extension of Mass (Nashua, etc.)...

I have learned that sometimes people in NH thrive on being contrarian!

God damn it - you can't trust polls this early.

16. Where am I going wrong here?
Doesn't 39 + 8 = 47? (assuming Nader votes would go to Kerry)
Wouldn't that put Kerry in the lead with 47 and Bush 45?
Where am I going wrong?

17. Only if Nader isn't on the ballot in NH.
But I doubt Nader will get such a big percentage of the vote, and I doubt Kerry will lose New Hampshire.

18. New Hampshire needs to go blue...
And it really should. Bush's policies have fucked voer a lot of people there economically and plus New Hampshire is really Kerry's backyard.
