Will "change you can xerox" go down as the line of this campaign
Edited on Fri Feb-22-08 12:56 PM by Araxen
to sum up how the Clinton campaign failed to become the nomination? I expect we'll hear that soundbite as an example for years to come on how soundbites can bomb just as well as be a momentum changer for a campaign.

"Noun, verb, and 9/11"

8. I think it will.
I think it'll be like "...and that man was your father- Herbert Walker Bush" it terms of getting replayed over the years.

12. God, that was a lovely line
I still recall the slump of Bush's shoulders when that line was delivered.

9. A Campaign You Can Xerox:
Hillary Clinton's Unremarkable Bid for the White House

It's a good title on the surface (if it's unremarkable why write a book...) but still - for the first serious campaign by a woman for the White House I think it was unremarkable, with few hilights and nothing that should be emulated by future campaigns.
