By what proportions? based on what data? Generally the best practice here is to provide a link to the information you are citing so that we can better understand your point.

If women vote 60-40 Democratic and men vote 51-49 Republican, for example, that translates into an Obama landslide.

14. I think the young white men who have been supporting

Obama will continue to support him. We'll need a huge GOTV operation targeting this demographic.

We will also have to target the blue-collar white men in the 35-55 age group who have been hurt by Bush policies. A lot of these guys had W stickers on their trucks in 2000 and 2004. Hopefully they will identify more with Obama (I'm assuming Obama will be our nominee) than the much older McCain.

I think Obama's rhetoric up to now has been designed to let these blue-collar workers feel comfortable in the Democratic party, which these guys have thought was too feminine in the past.

Of course, we'll need to keep our edge with women voters.
