Hillary Campaign Forgot to Put 10% of their Delegates on PA Ballot
http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/15759032.html

From the Philadelphia Daily News

Excerpts:

"Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign failed to file a full slate of convention delegate candidates for Pennsylvania's April 22 primary...This despite ... a Rendell-ordered extension of the filing deadline that could be viewed as more than just coincidental.

It appears Clinton came up 10 or 11 candidates short across a number of congressional districts, including two in Philadelphia. That's close to 10 percent of the 103 delegates to be decided by voters.

It appears the shortage would've been double that if Rendell hadn't extended last week's candidate filing deadline by a day and a half, ostensibly due to bad weather. Under Democratic Party rules ... a presidential candidate winning in a congressional district gets delegates from that district (assigned at a later date) whether he or she files slates delegates or not.

..For a national campaign stressing competence, experience, "ready day one," one might expect a full slate in what could be a key state. Especially given the backing of big-shot party leaders. "The Clinton people had the support of the ward structure here in Philadelphia," says Philly attorney Seth Williams, Obama's eastern Pennsylvania coordinator. "We just had grass-roots volunteers." ...Hanna says before the deadline extension Clinton could have been 21 delegate candidates short.

1. Clinton - Incompetent from Day One.
Just like Shrub - she's filled her campaign with cronies and incompetent staff. No, she might not have the same core beliefs as *, but she does hint of his inability to run things effectively.

Heck of a Job' Clinton.

7. She's not going to get a day one with the campaign she's put together
I'm not saying Obama is a lock, but HRC has pretty much shown us in myriad ways there's no way in hell she will win unless you take into account her spidey-like Clinton powers. :eyes:

11. I'm not a Hillary fan but "Incompetent" is a word I would NOT use to describe her
Now, "taking Obama's charisma for granted" and "not as popular/entitled as she thinks"? Yes...I'd use those words.

5. The article says they can name delegates later
The article says that if they win a congressional district, they still have the right to name delegates for that district later.

But it does make you wonder: if Hillary can't properly manage a few hundred paid campaign staffers (who she can replace at will), how is she supposed to manage over 2 million Federal employees and servicepersons?

6. Her organization is pretty disorganized
Can't even file in time. Geez.

I know that Obama's on the ground and running in PA and OH. Clinton's campaign isn't to be found. Basic organization is why Obama's going to win.

8. They didn't forget. They didn't think they'd need them so they didn't bother.

9. This is a rookie mistake, yet the rookie is the one who got it right.
The sad part is her campaign was made aware of this and dropped the ball not once, but twice.
