Had 8000 some posts (I think, I remember thinking that it was a lot), then hit a year of medical problems. Was very bad year for me, and a very expensive one. As I begin to recover from that, I went right into bankruptcy. Needless to say I didn't have much ability to be posting on DU.

When I got back on my feet, I completely forgot my login / password. So I just read DU for a long time. Probably nearly a year. Finally, as the election season started to heat up, I got more and more ancy to respond to some of the things I was reading, so I decided to just make a new account.

I went into serious medical crisis. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. My blood pressure was through the roof, I was having regularly trouble breathing, suffering from lightheadedness and other symptoms. I had no insurance, and spent about six thousand dollars over a year on tests like CT Scans and medicines after medicines - no one could figure out what was going on. Then, symptoms started to get better, without anyone figuring it out. After that, the ongoing emotional problems I was having came to a head. I underwent medical and theraputic care, I was put on different anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications, until finally something worked. Then I was in clinical counseling for six months. At the same time, the expense of all this combined with some bad choices of my own plunged me into bankruptcy. I lost my job during this time, and there were months where I didn't have enough to eat and was fighting not to be evicted.

I'm SORRY that you can't believe that after coming back to a place where I'm back on my feet again I wouldn't remember a lot about the internet from before. SeleneDukat Selene Dukat AmericanHeretic American Heretic or some kind of variation like that was what I believe it was. But I decided instead to just start again, since I was starting again in all other areas of my life, it felt nice.

Now, this is the LAST TIME I'm going to write about this stuff. I don't care if you don't believe me. But it isn't exactly a joyful experience to have to dredge up all of the things I've been through so that you don't call me a troll, a "zombie" a liar, or whatever else you want.

I have close to fifty logins for boards across the internet. Serious medical problems and bankruptcy sort of changes your perspective on what is "important." Getting back on my feet over a year later, there were a lot of things that I didn't remember.

It was probably either some variant of Selene/SeleneDukat/Selene Dukat or something with Heretic in it... LiberalHeretic, AmericanHeretic or those with spaces in between... I don't remember. And honestly, I didn't care that much. Starting fresh felt good.
