A modest proposal regarding Michigan and Florida
To keep the dispute over their delegates from making Democrats unhappy and to keep the corporate media from using the dispute to disparage Obama and Clinton and to prop up John McBush, I propose, humbly, that we expel Florida and Michigan from the Union.

Thank you.

1. Canada gets Michigan, Cuba gets Florida. Sounds fair to me.

6. That's what I was hoping for
From what I saw in Florida, you could get some TASTY ribs going down there... nice and fat. :9

(The old people you gotta slow cook though... they looked a bit stringy. :( )

4. Good move, get rid of a lot of the elderly and the unemployed.
foreclosure numbers will look better too. Here's the deal, a passport to visit your folks in Florida is $10,000 and it will be good for ten days. If you want their corpse back after they die, it's negotiable.

7. Could we join Vermont
as our own republic. Some in Vermont have been petitioning for such. Democrats would just have lost 18 likely Democratic electoral votes. I'd vote for Bernie Sanders as our first president. And we'd be out of Nafta. Fat chance, you'd ever get to a chance at Bernie as your president.

10. OK, but if Michigan goes, there go the Great Lakes, Mackinac Island fudge, and Michael Moore.
Lots of good stuff gone if Michigan goes.

Florida? I've lived in both states. Some good restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, I guess.

Decent amount of shoreline. Not as much as Michigan, of course.
