13. Update on the meeting today.

23 people from Licking County, Ohio showed up to put the gloves on for Obama. Bobby from the campaign was very happy with the turnout. It looks like canvasing the neighborhood and calling the voters will be the order of the day. Hope we can make it happen! Peace, Kim

32. no its fun. They are going to give you names and addresses

of registered democrats and independents, and you go out two at a time. I do a lot of cold calling as a salesman so I am used to it.

If people are not for Obama they are still friendly. You are not really trying to convince anyone just identify their interest and if they would like more information you basically share your personal information and if they have a question about policy they can go to the web site. We stopped and talked to everyone we could and we found people were friendly. If we met a Hillary supporter wished them good luck and told them we would see them at the poll. You won't have any problems and you will meet some people that will be absolutely thrilled to see you.

15. I have yet to talk to an Ohioan that intends to vote for BO.

My Democtratic friends/coworkers are planning on voting for Hillary and my Republican friends are just pissed off and don't want to vote for anybody. They know Bush sucks and McCain is just as bad but they don't want to see President Obama; however, at the same time, they aren't real thrilled about president Hillary either. For them, it's like trying to choose the lesser of three evils.

16. The plus is that I don't know one Rthug here that would

vote for Hillary. They are vicious about that. The 'polls' read for Clinton but I have no idea who they call for that. I so wish that they would call me! This state is desperate for change with unemployment soaring and an overstreatched National Guard. The one fly in the ointment is that our brand new Dem govenor seems to have his nose up Hills *ss which makes things seem a bit lopsided at this point. It may backfire as it would seem that he should be watching the business of Ohio and not selling himself as the next VP of the USA. I came home from the meeting and ordered 100 Obama buttons and 10 yard signs, seems to me to be the best way to get the job done. I intend to find homes for all. Thanks for the support. Peace, Kim

Had our Kerry signs set on fire two times in 2004. Sheriff said he couldn't help unless we had a license number so the third sign was laced with firecrackers in hopes that we would wake up in time... no lie.
