14. Not about Jane/Dolly -- about the storyline
Women who 'get back at the man'.

I am simply sick of the sexism crap that is coming out this election.

I am female, BTW

16. They played it when Hillary left
Did you see the movie?

When I heard the song kick off, it seemed "I am woman hear me roar" to me.

As a female, I am rather tired of the "vote for her because she is a woman" thing.

and working person's song. My take is that they are playing songs that suppose to be hip
but hell it is Wisconsin.......LOL

well, maybe I'm the only one who thinks using a rather sexist/feminist song is a bit hypocritical and playing the gender card.. but I erased it. So I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that is so totally inappropriate and transparent. Was it supposed to be a subliminal ploy ? LOL. All it did was make me want to go burn my disco boots.

Obama will get a thrashing if he tries to use something like "A Change is Gonna Come," as that would totally be pandering to the 1960s civil rights movement.

50. Five to One
"....Five to one, baby
One in five
No one here gets out alive, now
You get yours, baby
Ill get mine
Gonna make it, baby
If we try

The old get old
And the young get stronger
May take a week
And it may take longer
They got the guns
But we got the numbers
Gonna win, yeah
Were takin over
Come on!

Yeah!

Your ballroom days are over, baby
Night is drawing near
Shadows of the evening crawl across the years
Ya walk across the floor with a flower in your hand
Trying to tell me no one understands
Trade in your hours for a handful dimes
Gonna make it, baby, in our prime ...."

lyrics by James Douglas Morrison
