Everything is with us. Money, public opinion, turnout.

Whoever it is: Hillary or Obama?

Someone is going to say: "Don't be cocky." I say be realistic.

08 will go dem.

IOW quit with the: "If "x" wins the primary, we'll lose".

10. Not at all. Corporations and the media are also pragmatic. They see a sinking ship.
They're going to ditch the GOP. The GOP is responsible for the failed economic policies in place today. They do not gain an advantage by a failed economy.

Besides, both candidates are moderates.

You give them way too much credit.

21. And you are saying that it a cakewalk - by saying that the (D) is guaranteed to win
just by participating. If this thing doesn't go handily for McCain it will be as close as 2004 = but we may be the winner.

7. I think you are correct... Its all so coerced and manipulated this year,
even a chimp can see what has happened... I guess the many seasons of American Idol have prepared us for what the Presidency has become.. a media splash... with our pre-selected candidates.

8. Just look at voter turnout in the primaries and caucuses
Democrats vs. Republicans. Dems are showing up in droves, and Republicans seem to be sitting them out. I think our chances are good.

9. Never assume.
We still need to fight!
McCain is a war hero who is very attractive to many independents.
It won't be a walk in the park.
We need to keep our eyes on the prize

But look at our turnout. Our turnout is breaking records. We will win this.

22. If it's Clinton, say hello to President McCain.
1. She won't get the independent vote.
2. Her weepy moments will damage her Commander-in-Chief, I can go toe to toe with McCain meme (and it won't only be men, soccer moms will worry more about keeping their daughters safe then electing a woman as commander-in-chief).
3. Dislike of the Clintons is no longer limited to the Republican base.

There's more, but that alone should do it.

23. No way in Hell McCain wins.
The GOP has no credentials this year.

NONE of their wedge issues work. (Right to Life, trickle down economics, national security)

Long lists of scandals.

McCain hugging Bush.

The independents will take one look at the Bush economy and another at the Clinton economy and put their "x" right next to democrat this year.

They have nothing this year except immigration which has been a major flop.

In other words their tools are gone. They have shit. They're done.
